Our Seamless Day Child Care Program is a unique opportunity that provides after school care for students in Kindergarten. The students are able to stay in the same caring, play-based environment throughout the day. This allows the educators to better meet the needs of the child and expand on their interests and “wonders”. The team of educators include several classroom teachers and one early childhood educator. With minimum transitions for the students, and team collaboration for the educators, students will excel in all aspects of their development.

The Central Okanagan Public School District is welcoming your family to participate in our Early Learning for Families (ELFF) events. (Also known as Ready Set Learn in other areas). Each elementary school hosts an ELFF event to foster early and positive connections with children and their families. Building the home to school connection can help create a gentler transition when your child joins us for kindergarten. The ELFF event will include engaging and fun learning activities and give your child(ren) an opportunity to meet future faces. It is also a good opportunity for you to ask all your questions or wonders about kindergarten transition.
