Ready, Set, Learn!
and
ELFF (Early Literacy for Families)
are held in conjunction together.
Ready, Set,  Learn is a school readiness initiative for 3 year olds sponsored by the Ministry of Education.  

ELFF is a district program initiative designed to help families make early connections with their neighbourhood school.  When parents are involved in their children's education, their children do better.





Preschool
School District No. 23 partnered with preschool operators to accommodate preschools in some of our schools.  Sponsorships or subsides may be available for some families. Please discuss subsidy information with the preschool operator.

StrongStart
StrongStart is a free drop-in early learning program and the beginning of a special partnership between families and schools. The StrongStart program is for 3 and 4 year old children and their parent(s), grandparents or
in-home caregivers.

All StrongStart Centres will be closed on  (Peachland will open on Jan 5), Feb 3, Feb 17, Mar 12 to Mar 23, and Apr 5



School District No. 23 and Kelowna Child Care Society
have partnered to offer a Young Parent Program that is facilitated at Okanagan College & Kelowna Secondary School.
