The Learning Centre has arranged a number of exciting events, workshops and courses for School District No. 23 staff. We also have evening technology courses which are open to employees as well as the public.
Registration and payment for Learning Centre events are processed through a web based registration system called eReg. Click on the link to see the upcoming Learning Centre events that are available. New events are always being added. You can also check out the "TLC EVENT CALENDAR" for a monthly listing of workshops and courses!

 Literacy, Numeracy, and Readiness have joined forces to coach New and Nearly New teachers in the school district. This ongoing initiative supports the district's goal of retaining our newest teachers, and of building professional capacity within our organization. This joint endeavour focusses on instruction and on developing the multiple literacies required for the 21st century learner. Participants enhance their abilities to take part in professional conversations, and they learn and practice sound classroom strategies that focus on student engagement.
