SD 23 Mentorship Program

School District #23 Mentorship Program is delivered through a partnership between  SD #23, the Central Okanagan Teachers’ Association (COTA) and the education faculty at the University of British Columbia – Okanagan campus.  The aim is to promote a healthy, positive, seamless transition between pre-service teacher preparation and the first year or two of actual professional teaching.  Beginning teachers are paired with experienced mentor teachers and are provided with a variety of support activities through out the school year.
