SD23 Student Resources
If you are looking for a site to help you with your homework? There are hundreds, even thousands on the Internet. But which ones are good? This database contains only the best sites on the Internet as selected by SD23 teachers. Students are even able to vote on how useful they find the sites.
Looking for Online Databases & Reference Resources. Go to the SD23 Online Reference Resource page and link to the many resources available to students in the District. Most of the above services are automatically authenticated for automatic access on computers within the schools. Some services require no authentication. Other services such as BC QP LegaEze and BC Books Online are only available within the District. For access at home contact your classroom teacher or school teacher-librarian for usernames and passwords.
Learn360 allows students to stream or download thousands of videos, video clips, audio files (MP3), images, speeches, newsreels, and other digital media. Access is available via the Internet, 24/7, from school or home and all content is searchable by keyword, subject area, media type and more. Video files are available in Windows Media, QuickTime, or Flash. Contact your school teacher-librarian or classroom teacher for your school username and school password.
