The Central Okanagan School District offers and Early French Immersion Program that begins in Kindergarten. This program enables the non-Francophone students to acquire a working knowledge and proficiency in Canada's two official languages. Students in the French Immersion program follow the BC curriculum just like in the English program. The only difference is that the students are "immersed" in the French language while learning the curriculum and while participating in rich French cultural learning experiences.
