The Curriculum Resource Centre provides a large collection of learning resources for loan to teachers and District staff in School District No. 23 (Central Okanagan). The CRC is a support service that is part of Hollywood Rd. Education Services. In addition to its learning resources collection, the CRC provides laminating services, printing services and media production services, meeting rooms and a technology training centre.
District staff can search the online learning resource catalogue to schedule and book learning resources. Staff can access the CRC Online Learning Resource Catalogue from any computer with Internet access, whether within the District, at home or any remote location. Teachers and all District staff are encouraged to use the CRC Online Catalogue at crc.sd23.bc.ca. School
and District staff can also book learning resources by telephone, FAX and by email.
The Curriculum Resource Centre includes a Professional Library, video and DVD collection, a range of equipment for loan, models, games, kits, realia, lesson aids, learning assistant resources and other resources for loan to teachers. In addition, a large collection of professional resources are available online through subscriptions to EBSCO and Thompson Gale services.
